Image processing happens locally. The images you select are resized and converted to WebP locally in your browser only. Your images are not transmitted to us or to any third party and are not stored on our servers. The finished, compressed files are then handed solely to the upload function of your own Webflow account — triggered by your action.
Webflow API token (optional). For the “reuse assets in CMS image fields” feature you can store a Webflow API token. This token is stored locally in your browser only (chrome.storage.local), is not synced, and is used solely for requests to api.webflow.com in order to load your assets and folders. We have no access to this token; you can remove it at any time in the extension settings and revoke it in your Webflow site settings.
Settings. Your extension settings (e.g. target format, quality, target size) are likewise stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to us.
The processing of data within your Webflow account — for example when uploading assets or retrieving them via the Webflow Data API — is subject to the privacy policy of Webflow, Inc. “LemonSqueeze” is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Webflow, Inc.
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA (“Vercel”). When you access the website, Vercel automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits in server log files (see below) — in particular your IP address — in order to deliver the website securely, quickly and reliably and to safeguard its stability and security. This is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Vercel may process data on servers in the USA. For such transfers to a third country, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses serve as appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Vercel pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Further information can be found in Vercel’s privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:
This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of its website.
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser bar.
This website uses the “Fredoka”, “Nunito” and “Space Mono” typefaces. These fonts are self-hosted and are delivered exclusively from our own server (our host, Vercel) together with the rest of the website. No connection to Google (Google Fonts) or any other third party is established to load them, and no data is transmitted to Google for this purpose. The use of these fonts serves our legitimate interest in a consistent and appealing presentation of our website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
This website uses no tracking, marketing or analytics cookies and loads no third-party services (our fonts are self-hosted). The first time you visit, we show a short cookie notice; once you acknowledge it, we store a single technically necessary entry in your browser’s local storage so the notice is not shown again. This storage is strictly necessary to provide the function you requested and therefore does not require consent (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG); the associated processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The entry remains on your device only, is not transmitted to us, and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings; you can re-open the notice via “Cookie notice” at the bottom of the page. The interactive “Squeeze-O-Meter” demonstration on the homepage runs purely visually in your browser and stores no data.
If you contact us by email or telephone, the details you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or to pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data you send us remains with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose for storing it ceases to apply. Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected.
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the following rights at any time:
To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details above is sufficient.
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged breach. This right to complain exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
